UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE AND TICKETPOP ELECTRONIC TICKETING KIOSK BIG WINNERS AT THE 4TH ANNUAL KIOSKCOM.COM INTERACTIVE KIOSK EXCELLENCE AWARDS

Awards Honor Top Interactive Self-Service Kiosk Deployments

Las Vegas, NV - April 20, 2005 - Last night the United States Postal Service along with a number of prominent companies won excellence awards for their deployment of interactive self-service applications. Former CNN Headline News Anchor Bob Losure presented the awards to a jubilant crowd of over 250 industry professionals. The awards ceremony took place during the 9th annual KioskCom.com Trade Show and Conference, which is being held this week at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

"We salute the winners and all of the finalists, this was a stellar year for the industry. The panel of 11 judges had a challenging time deciding on the winners as all of the projects were strategic, innovative and visionary," said Lawrence Dvorchik, KioskCom.com's COO and the Executive Director for the awards program. "The awards truly had an international flair with winners from Norway, Puerto Rico, Latin America and Korea."

There were 17 categories of winners, and for the first time KioskCom.com awarded two individuals with outstanding achievement awards. Bradley Walker, President and CEO of Nanonation was awarded Industry Leader of the Year and was recognized for his significant contribution to the advancement of kiosk and self-service technology. Janet Webster, Manager Retail Service Network and Access Management for the United States Postal Service was named Deployer Leader of the Year and was recognized for the strategic role she has played in driving the Postal Services kiosk deployment. The United States Postal Service won three first place awards for the Automated Postal Center and TicketPop won two first place awards for its Electronic Ticketing Kiosk. "On behalf of all of the judges and staff of KioskCom.com 2005, we would like to congratulate the winners on their achievements," said Dvorchik. "Self-service technology is clearly becoming a part of our every day lives as evidenced by the increasing volume of award entries and their successful kiosk deployments," added Dvorchik. "We would also like to recognize the judges for their efforts as well. There were hundreds of written entrees which they reviewed for hours prior to the show and then they did usability testing on all of the finalists during the first day of the show." Judges for the awards were selected from leading publications, consultants and analysts, both inside and outside of the kiosk industry and include representatives from the following organizations: KioskCom.com, Euro Kiosks Network, NRF, Frost & Sullivan, Kiosk Business Magazine, Summit Research Associates, Automated Retail Partners, Gartner Dataquest, Delphi International, LakeWest Group, Pre-Paid Press, and EXPO Magazine.

In addition, the attendees at the awards dinner reached deep into their pockets and donated over $8,500 to Positively Kids, a wonderful non-profit organization based in Las Vegas that provides home care services to medically fragile children.
